Cheese Thumbprint Biscuit with Red Bell Habanero Jam

  • 2 Cups shredded cheddar cheese.
  • 1 Cup all purpose flour.
  • 6 Tablespoons chilled butter, chopped.
  • 1/2 Cup Uncle Carney’s Red Bell Habanero Jam.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Blend cheddar cheese, flour, and butter in a food processor until it’s a course meal texture.

Form into ball, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

After chilling, shape dough into 1 and 1/2 inch balls, and place on backing sheet 1 inch apart.

Bake in preheated oven for 5 minutes.

Remove from oven, and press thumb into the top of each ball to make an indentation.

Spoon about 1 teaspoon of Uncle Carney’s Reb Bell Habanero Jam into each indentation.

Place back in preheated over, and bake until ends are golden brown, approximately 5 mins
